Globally celebrated author, speaker and leadership coach Jason Barger is hosting the second annual Thermostat Cultures Live event in Columbus this fall featuring longtime Starbucks President Howard Behar and other culture visionaries.

The intimate event, which is Nov. 9 at The Wells Barn at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, is an engaging day for leaders and change agents who are passionate about authentic leadership, meaningful connection and building compelling cultures. It includes conversations with national thought leaders, interactive discussions with guests and more.

Barger, a Columbus native, travels worldwide giving keynote addresses focused on his latest book, Thermostat Cultures. With a series of powerful stories and insights, the book makes intentional culture creation an approachable concept that is not a luxury but a necessity. Last year’s inaugural Thermostat Cultures Live event—dreamed up after an overwhelming response to the book—sold out to guests from Chicago to California.

“Everyone is talking about culture now, from athletic teams to politicians to business owners,” Barger said. “The best leaders are trying to figure out how to get it right. And that’s exactly what this day will inspire them to do—give them the insights and tools to build winning cultures.”

Behar—a renowned business leader, author and speaker who retired from Starbucks after helping grow it from 28 stores to more than 15,000—looks forward to the event, which he also headlined last year.

“It was an incredible day,” Behar said. “Jason’s spirit and work is infectious, and the event showcased that. Everyone who attended had valuable conversations, and I’m thrilled to dive in again.”

Seating for the event is limited. Tickets start at $695; presale tickets go on sale May 10 for $595 at ThermostatCulturesLive.com.
